The Law Is Holy: And Yet Kenya’s Legal System Bends to Money, Not Justice

“The law was meant to protect the weak- but now it protects the wealthy.”
“The courtroom was meant to be sacred- but now it’s a stage where justice is sold to the highest bidder.”
“Law is not man-made. It is a reflection of divine order- and Kenya has violated it.”
This blog is a declaration: the law is not a tool. It is a trust.
And today, Kenya’s legal system stands in violation of its own soul.
The Divine Nature of Law

Let’s begin with truth:
Law is not just legislation. It is sacred structure.
Before courts existed, there was still law.
- The law of balance.
- The law of consequence.
- The law of dignity.
- The law of truth.
In divine order, law does not bend.
It is stable. Just. Pure.
It applies equally to the king and the beggar.
In Kenya, we call our Constitution Supreme.
But the people are now beginning to ask:
Supreme for who?
💸 When Law Bends for Money, It Is No Longer Law
In Kenya today:
- Land thieves walk free.
- Protesters are shot—but no officer is held accountable.
- Court orders are ignored by the very leaders sworn to uphold them.
- Cases are delayed for years while the poor rot in cells.
- Corporations poison rivers, steal public land, and never face prison.
Meanwhile:
- A mother is jailed for stealing unga.
- Youth are arrested for assembling without a permit.
- Activists are abducted for tweets.
This is not law. This is legalized oppression.
The problem is not that we lack law.
It’s that our law has become a commodity– bought, sold, and bent for those who can afford it.
⚖️ The Legal Community Must Redeem Itself

Let’s speak directly to the lawyers, judges, and law educators:
You hold the keys to justice, not just procedure.
- If you teach law but do not speak when law is violated- you are part of the system that breaks it.
- If you wear robes but fear speaking truth- you have turned the court into a costume party.
- If you know the Constitution but refuse to defend it when it matters- you are the traitor, not the thief.
This is your calling. If you betray it, the nation loses its last line of defense.
📉 The Cost of a Corrupt Legal System
A nation whose legal system is compromised:
- Cannot guarantee safety.
- Cannot attract just investment.
- Cannot evolve.
- Cannot be truly free.
Because without justice, nothing else matters.
Roads, digital IDs, tech, and elections are meaningless when the foundation is cracked.
If the law bends today for money, tomorrow it will break for tyranny.
🔁 The People Must Also Understand the Law
Most citizens fear the law because they don’t understand it.
This is intentional.
When people are not taught:
- How to read the Constitution,
- How to defend their rights,
- How to hold leaders accountable…
They become easy to manipulate and easier to silence.
A society that fears its own laws is already enslaved.
✊🏽 Restoring the Sacredness of Law
What must be done:
✅ Civic education must become spiritual education – Teach the people that law is divine justice, not just government policy.
✅ Lawyers must return to oath – Not just to win cases, but to uphold truth. Even if it costs them status.
✅ Judges must fear God, not presidents – When courts lose independence, nations lose hope.
✅ The people must rise in knowledge – Attend public hearings. Question irregular court rulings. Study your Constitution.
Because when the people are ignorant of the law, those in power will always use it against them.
⚠️
“Law is sacred. Law is spiritual. Law is not politics. And any nation that defiles its law has already defiled its soul.”
– The Book of Rose
Kenya must choose:
Will we continue down the path where courtrooms are casinos?
Or will we restore honor to the justice system, before the nation collapses entirely?
📣At Awakening Souls Institute, we call on:
- Legal scholars to awaken.
- Judges to reclaim dignity.
- Citizens to learn the law they live under.
- Spiritual leaders to speak of justice, not just grace.
Let us remind the nation:
The law is holy. And no man is above it.
