✨The Mask of Greed: How Scarcity Became the World’s Most Dangerous Illusion

What if everything you were told about “not enough” was a lie designed to control your soul? If everything you needed already existed, why are we told to fight for it?
This blog uncovers how the world was tricked into believing in scarcity, and how this lie created greed, suffering, and disconnection. Learn how to see through the mask, and remember the truth of Divine abundance.

Imagine you’re holding a loaf of bread. Now imagine someone tells you that it’s the last one on earth. How would you feel? Would you hide it? Fight for it? Refuse to share?
This is how the world was tricked.
The idea that there isn’t enough for everyone has been planted deep in our minds, like a bad seed. Over time, this belief grew into fear… and that fear grew into greed. But what if the real truth is that there is enough? What if the Earth was always generous, and it was the lie that changed how we behaved?
In this blog, we pull off the mask of greed and reveal what’s underneath: a world built on fear, and a soul that’s ready to remember the truth of abundance.

Where Did Scarcity Come From?
Long ago, people lived close to nature. They farmed, fished, traded, and shared. There were seasons of plenty, and seasons of less, but no one thought the Earth would stop giving. Then, power-hungry leaders realized something: if you convince people that there isn’t enough, you can control them.
Scarcity was born not in the soil, but in the story. From the fall, the Perfect Idea, however, is Excessive supply. The universe doesn’t run on earthly-economic factors, but on Divine Truth.
Once people began to believe this story of lack, they stopped trusting each other. They stopped giving freely. They began to compete, steal, hoard, and call it “survival.” But survival built on fear is not life. It’s captivity. And oppression of the Soul.
Scarcity is not a truth of nature. It’s a lie that changed the way we see each other.
Greed: A Fear Wearing Fancy Clothes
Greed appears loud, powerful, and wealthy, but at its core, it’s just fear dressed in gold and flushy clothes. A fear born from a scarcity mindset, always afraid there won’t be enough tomorrow. But tell me, have you ever worried there wouldn’t be enough oxygen to breathe, that you should bottle it and hide it for the next day? The Source gives freely. It’s only our fear that taught us to hoard.
Have you ever seen someone with more than enough still taking more? That’s not confidence. That’s a soul that forgot how to feel safe. A soul that afraid to radically trust the Infinite Source to provide.
Greed is the mask we wear when we believe in scarcity. But no matter how much we take, if we still believe there isn’t enough, we’ll always feel empty.
This is how greed becomes an endless hunger, it’s never truly about how much you have, but whether you’re aware of the abundance already within and around you.
The World We Built from a Lie
Because of this false story, we built schools that teach us to compete instead of create. We built companies that pay the least and charge the most. We built governments that protect profits instead of people.
Even churches sometimes teach that blessings are scarce, and that God’s love must be earned. Some even go as far as claiming that lack is a form of divine punishment, as if the Creator withholds as a lesson. But that’s the cruelest joke of all: to portray infinite Love as conditional, and to call deprivation holy.

But the Source of Life never runs dry. How could we ever ask too much from the Infinite, from the very Wellspring that gives birth to all that is? That’s impossible.
Think about it: the sun shines every morning. Trees keep growing. Rivers keep flowing. Love multiplies when shared. These are signs that scarcity is not real. Only fear made it seem that way.
What Abundance Really Means
Abundance does not mean “being rich.” It means knowing you are provided for, even when you don’t yet see it. It’s a calm heart that trusts the process. It’s sharing with someone else and not feeling smaller, but fuller.
It’s not just about money. You can be rich in love, peace, wisdom, time, kindness, and truth.
When you remember this, you stop trying to take from others. You start asking: How can I give from what I’ve been given? That’s where true wealth begins, inside your soul.
A New Way of Living: Soul Over System
You don’t need to believe the old story anymore. You can choose to see through the mask and live a new way.
Start small:
- Share what you have.
- Speak truth where there’s fear.
- Choose trust instead of control.
- Believe that your needs will be met, not just by money, but by miracles.
The new world begins when souls remember who they are. You are not here to compete, you are here to create. Not to fear, but to flow. Not to grab, but to give.
And in doing so, you receive more than you ever imagined.
The mask of greed is heavy, and it hides the truth. But once you take it off, you’ll see clearly:
🌿 The Earth still gives.
💫 The soul still knows.
🔥 The Source is still flowing.
You don’t have to live in fear. You were born from abundance, and you were born to awaken others to it.
Are you ready to take off the mask and live soul-first? 💛
